Hello, I have a gym where I teach boxing, and I offer several packages for my clients, which are:
Boxing Monday-Tuesday and Friday (4 weeks)
Boxing Tuesday and Thursday (4 weeks)
Boxing Monday-Tuesday and Friday (2 weeks)
Boxing Tuesday and Thursday (2 weeks)
10 boxing sessions (to choose time)
Boxing Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday (4 weeks)
Boxing Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday (for 4 weeks)
As you can see, I have many packages for different clients because the prices vary a lot, when I bought the plugin I explained this same case and they told me that "it would work for me without any problem."
What is the problem? That various time slots of various packages were not available.
I opened a private ticket and they told me that if an hour is reserved in a package, it is no longer available in all packages that share that hour. And I can't afford that since, as you can see, I'm the only coach and I give all the classes. Please I demand an effective solution to the problem. I keep waiting.
At no time is it clear on the web that the schedules of one package are not excluded from the others, in addition to the fact that the plugin allows you to make thousands of packages for the same service and place it only on an employee, if this cannot be done so why is it allowed on the site? I just want to be able to do what I ask, which is nothing to write home about, an effective solution, not a request for "the fix" or "you can't" because for that I have paid the plugin and it is a real situation that more gyms can have .
Hi Lisa, I am the only coach,
And I sell "boxing class" packages. That they are different by the time of each class and by the frequency of each class.
I tell you the problem. What happens is that I sell several packages, for example: I have package "A": Which consists of 3 boxing classes of 1h a week for 1 month (that is, 4 weeks)
And I also have another package, the "B" of 5 classes a week of 1h lasts 1 month (that is 4 weeks)
If someone from package "A", book on Monday 16 at 19:00, that time slot disappears from package B. And of course my business needs the slot on Monday 16 at 19:00 to be available for all packages that stay at that time until a certain number of people is occupied (which in my case does not matter to me because they have never been or will be more than the maximum), therefore, what I need is that if someone reserves a package in a certain hour, that hour is also available for the rest of the packages, because several coincide and will coincide. Why are there multiple packages? Because I give different prices and according to the client's availability. A 3-day package (M-X-V) costs one price, and a 2-day package another and a 5-day package, but customers can agree to go at the same time. It is a real case, and this is how my business works, I explained this in the pre-sales questions and they said "no problem, Amelia fits perfectly", please I want a solution. I JUST WANT to be able to offer the reservations and be able to manage it well. I keep waiting for A SOLUTION to use as soon as possible.
Hi Liza, what I need is to be able to show and reserve time periods in various packages. That is, if someone from a package reserves at an hour, in another package where that hour can also be reserved, it remains available. Because what happens is that if someone books at 7:00 on Monday, that time is no longer shown in another package. And what I need is that all the packages show the hours and can be booked at the same time. You understand me? How could I achieve this? With several employees even if you only have one? I just want a solution.
That's correct: it's not possible to book multiple appointments from different packages for the same time slot if they are assigned to the same Employee. Normally, that's exactly what companies require: to avoid overbooking. That's why your requirements were not clear for me in the beginning.
In this case, it can be set only through a workaround: Yoy can create multiple Employees who in fact will be the same Employee - you. In Amelia, each employee should have a unique email address, so there's a trick to use the same email for all of them: this can be solved if you use Gmail by adding +number before @ for the same email address (like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc.) and then you will be able to create different email addresses but all emails will go to the same email address. I'm not sure about all the email services but it works flawlessly with Gmail.
Then, you can assign different Services to "different" Employees, so they will be available for the same time slots.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hello Liza, what a good solution, thank you very much, the only thing I need to know is how to do so that the only employee I have can manage all the appointments and reservations (cancel them, accept them and others) of the fictional employees. How could this be done?
And on the other hand, how could I hide the employees who play for each package, so that only the one available is awarded but who does not appear? Above all I say this because I have named the fictitious employees "my name + number" that is, cease + 1, cease 2 etc ...
I am waiting for an answer, thank you very much.
The only way to see all the appointments with the current built-in features in Amelia is to do it under Admin or Manager role on the back-end. If you want to manage all your appointments on the Employee panel, then there's a limitation in Amelia that allows an Employee to see and edit only his/her appointments. And also Admin and Manager can't access the Employee panel. In this case, you can try using the User Role Editor plugin. I can't tell you precisely but this plugin can extend Employees' permissions on the back end (so they will be able to see all the appointments, for example), therefore, I believe, it will work for the Employee panel as well.
Regarding hiding Employee selection drop-down: It can be hidden with custom CSS. Please provide me with the URL to the booking page, and I will send you the correct CSS for that.
Hi, Cesar!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
I'm not sure I understand the issue completely.
You're the only coach, so you need the books time slots to be unavailable for further booking, is that correct?
If so, that's how Amelia works by default, so there should be no issue.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, Cesar!
Thank you for the clarification.
So, to sum up: you use group classes, and want the same time slot to be available for more than one booking, is that correct?
In this case, please enable the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments:
Please let me know if this solution matches your requirements.
Best Regards.
