We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
All our sales associates in the stores have Amelia Mangers accounts. To give them all rights. we have noticed that Amelia Managers cannot delete appointments.
As a workaround, I ask them to change the date to the past.
But why can't they? It would be easier for us. Is it possible to change this?
Also, over a short period of time, I want to change these accounts to Employee accounts. In settings-> Role settings I enabled all options for employees (including 'Manage their appointments). Will this give the sales associates the possibility to delete appointments?
I'm confused because employees can have a Managers account ans employee account... Do the role settings have effect on the Employees OR on the Employee account?
Hello Myra
Managers can modify things in back-end but they can't delete anything - that's simply how the user role is defined. You can install a plugin like "User Role Editor", and modify the Amelia Manager user role, so they can read, write and delete appointments, customers, etc.
Merging two user roles (managers and employees) is not recommended because they have different capabilities, so if you link a Manager to an Employee, there's a chance that Manager's capabilities will be ignored, and they won't have abilities they currently have.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
thanks for your reply. Do you have an overview of the capabilities of the accounts? Or the most important differences between Manager and Employee account?
I want to make sure that when I change the account from Manager to employee, they still can do the things they need to do.
Hi again Myra
Please take a look at our documentation about Users and roles.
If you have a specific inquiry about a user role, please let me know, and if I don't know the answer straight away - I will test it locally, and provide you with the info.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
