After a client has booked an appointment and received service, I would like to apply a discount. For example, I had several clients for whom I provided a $100 service. I only charged them $90 when the service was delivered. They paid in-person at my office. I want to track this actual amount charged within Amelia. If I enter that $90 was paid, Amelia says the client still owes $10. Is there a way to change the service price for an individual appointment or to apply a coupon code after the service was booked and delivered? I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.
I'm afraid, at the moment it is not possible with current built-in features.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
What I can see as a solution is to create another Service, for example, the original Service A has a price of $100, then the duplicated Service A discounted has a price of $90 and available only on the back-end. And once you have to apply the discounted price, you can just edit the Appointment and change Service A to Service A Discounted. It's the only workaround I can suggest.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
