I’ve purchased and used your Amelia as booking system of my studio service.
On the other hand, hope to hear your opinion about connection of Google calendar.
Following is this problem’s background.
In my business it is necessary to receive booking from many sites not only original web site but also portal web site.
We are using to google calendar for booking confirmation because google calendar can be synchronized in both directions.
We adopted your Amelia readings of good design, good functionality and being able to sync to google calendar.
However, we have trouble.
When booked by Amelia, two main portal web sites could be not synchronized this booked schedule automatically.
Ameila’s booking reflect my main google calendar.
Customer service of one of portal web site said that the schedule booked by Amelia is the tentative situation and his portal web site cannot be synchronized this “tentative schedule”.
Furthermore, this portal web site never arrange his individual problem.
Indeed, when I replicate Amelia’s booking in google calendar, portal site can read this booking,
This means Amelia’s booking is tentative situation and replicated booking is confirmed situation.
As this portal site’s SEO and ability to attract customers is very strong, we cannot avoid this portal site, which we ask you how to change from tentative schedule to confirmed schedule in google calendar.
Your service is very comfortable except of above point.
I'm afraid, there's only one way the Google synchronization can work.
Could you please tell us more about your solution? As far as I understand, you connected your site and the portal to the same Google calendar to avoid double booking, is that correct?
Does Amelia recognize the bookings that were made in the portal?
I had to consult with my colleagues regarding your case.
Amelia creates "Busy" events in the Google calendar.
Therefore, the created events certainly are not tentative but are saved as "busy" exactly due to the fact that they need to be blocked. We don't know how these portal websites are saving events in Google, but if a busy event is created with Amelia, there should be no possibility to book anything at that time.
Can someone from the portal team explain what they mean by "Tentative"? Maybe it's not an accurate term.
Amelia Appointments should have the "busy" status in the Google Calendar. That's why we need more details from the portal's team since we didn't have any similar complaints before.
So, please forward their response to us once they reply to you.

Hi liza!
I appriciate to contact you!
Yes, your understanding is correct.
As we get customers' booking from some sites including my HP, double booking is the highest risk.
I always connect three portal sites and two of them cannot be synchronized to schedule by booking of Amelia, which means to occur double booking.
One of main portal site said to me following situation.
booking by Amelia in my HP: the booking reflects in my mail Google calendar.
Portal site cannot be syncrionized because this booking states is "tentative".
however, when I copy this booking in Google calendar portal site can be syncronized and the states is "confirmed".
By the way, Amelia can recognize other booking from portal sites.

Dear Liza!
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I will ask cutomer team of portal site because Japan is night time now.
Just in case telling you, a person of portal site shared me below url for reference.
https://developers.google.com/calendar/v3/reference/events#status
I think a person explained of the "
status" and it seems to be selected from 'confirmed', 'tentative' and 'cancelled'.
Could you check 'busy' status maybe other point regarding my question?
Best regards,
Kent
