We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello! My amelia plug-in has been running very slow for about 3 weeks, causing my website to run slow. To solve this, I checked the version of Amelia and found that it was old. However, it asked me to enter my purchase code to update it. I entered, but he does not accept it, it gives an error. Also, employee accounts are opened very slowly, rarely. I urgently request help. Best regards.
Hi, Ozge!
Please try to update Amelia manually:
Check if the option Delete plugin tables is disabled in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation before updating the plugin manually ( it is disabled by default, but just in case). If this option is enabled, deleting Amelia on the Plugins page will delete Amelia tables and data from the database as well.
1) Download the zip from our store
2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder
4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section
6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again
7) Clear server and browser cache
If the plugin is still slow, please make sure your PHP was updated as well (preferably to version 8.0, but any new version is acceptable).
If you update Amelia and make sure that PHP has a recent version as well and it still slows down your site, please try to disable all other plugins and test Amelia again. If that helps, start enabling plugins one by one until you find the one that causes the issue.
And, finally, if you use the SG Optimizer plugin or any caching plugin, you should exclude pages with Amelia from its settings.
Best Regards.
