We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hallo,
... the placeholder (for/in the e.g.: Notifications):
%location_address%
works ONLY - if the functionell GMapsKey set? Why?
Thanks for your quickly help.
G, Mike
Hi, Mike!
It happens because the address in Locations can be saved only if you provide your Google Maps API key in Amelia -> Settings -> General. Without Maps API Key you can create locations with names only. Even if you add the Google Maps API key and create Locations with addresses these Maps are not shown anywhere on the front-end, they are shown only in the back-end on the page Amelia -> Locations.
Regarding Google Maps API key to work, you need to enable all necessary APIs in your Google Console:
Also, you have to add your billing account. You can read more about this here.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Best Regards.
I too found this reply useful. However, I would much prefer to be able to enter a location address REGARDLESS of whether or not I have the Google Maps API enabled.
Thank you.
Hi, Craig!
Thank you for your comment.
I'm afraid, at the moment it's not possible to add the address without Google maps API.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Best Regards.
