    Dear Support-Team,

before I describe my problem, I have another question and hopefully you can help me out.

Description what I am trying to do:
I want to over 6 home office desks. The 6 desks are pretty equal. Ideally the customer picks a date, and then one of the 6 desks. The customer is able to book 1 desk for at least 8 hours (1 working day), but can book multiple days as well. Is that anyhow possible?

    Question:
Is it possible to anyhow directly show the calender to show potencial customers the available timeslots first, before they pick a service?

    My problem:
I created an example page with some shortcodes of amelia. See the link attached. I created all items like category, service, employee and so on. I can already see the wizard on the website for the customer, but I don't understand why it is not working. At the moment I cannot select any date in the calendar, expect end of march until 1st of april, nothing more. Why? (check out the screenshot attached)

    Thanks in advance and regards,
    Philip

    Hi, Philip!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

And thank you for your inquiry.

    1. Basically, Amelia was created as a plugin for booking Appointments. Therefore, there are no built-in features for rental business. Therefore, in order to use Amelia, you'll have to add each desk as a Service.

Our plugin needs at least one Employee connected with a Service. If you have 6 desks and you want to allow renting them at the same time separately (and avoid double renting), you'll have to connect them to 6 different Employees. It goes without saying that these Employees don't have to be real staff members, they can be added only in order to follow the logic of the plugin.

In Amelia, each Employee needs to have a unique email address so each desk will have also. This can be solved if you plan to use Gmail by adding +number before @ for the same email address (like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]) and then you will be able to create different email addresses but all emails will go to the same email address.

On the front-end, the selection of Employees can be hidden with a simple CSS code. So your customers won't have to choose them while booking.

    2. Unfortunately, it's not possible to book multiple days at the same time. But something like that can be achieved with Packages. Please find more information here: https://wpamelia.com/packages/

    3. I'm afraid, to see available dates, your customers will have to select a Service. However, if you use this so-called Step-by-step view (that you have currently), then the dates when no Services are available will be crossed out.

    4. Please make sure that your assigned Services to Employees, set Employees working hours in their profiles (not only in Amelia -> Settings -> working hours) and that the option "Show service on site" is enabled in each Service modal.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards.
