For some reason, every now and then the zoom meetings require the host to have the username and password to start their zoom meeting. What is causing this issue and how can it be resolved? I've had multiple people miss appointments because they couldn't start the meeting.
Hi, Michael!
Sorry for the delayed response.
And thank you for choosing Amelia.
Amelia's integration with Zoom works in a way that the plugin automatically creates a meeting in Zoom, and the employee and the customer get the links to host or join the meeting.
The meeting itself is handled through Zoom, as an external application. Your employee is linked to his/her Zoom profile, but if they log out of their profile, they need to log back in. Since they are hosts, they need to start a meeting as a logged-in user, while attendees can join the meeting without an account.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
