    Hello Antonino

Thank you for your interest in our plugin. Please note that the only supported language is English, so please translate your future responses.

If I understood your question correctly, you're creating a ranking table, where you need your users to filter the results?

That should be easily achievable with the plugin, where filters can be enabled for every column, or your choice of columns.

Please feel free to elaborate if I missed something, or if you have more questions about this. Also, make sure to test our plugin before purchase on our sandbox site.

    Kind Regards,

    Good afternoon Aleksandar.

My goal is to create a RANKING, where this RANKING will have some options predefined by the administrator.

In this Ranking, our student, after "logged in" on the website, will be able to insert his hits so that as soon as he sends the data, be launched in the RANKING and then see his placement.

    For better understanding:

There will be a spreadsheet with: NAME (columns); DISCIPLINE I (columns); DISCIPLINE II (columns); DISCIPLINE III (columns); DISCIPLINE IV (columns); DISCIPLINE V (columns) and others (these DISCIPLINES will be divided into columns).

Then, our student (user) will be provided with a SIMULATE (in PDF) with the aforementioned divisions, so, as soon as he finishes answering the SIMULATE (in PDF), he will access the RANKING page, where he "will fill in the answers in the DISCIPLINES (columns) mentioned above so that after filling in the data, you can then be classified in the RANKING to know its placement in comparison to the other participants.

The question is: Will the student be able to edit this table, inserting the correct answers of the respective DISCIPLINES (COLUMNS) to obtain a placement in this RANKING?

I ask this, for the video I saw of the plugin on youtube:

    NOTE:

"If I understand your question correctly, are you creating a leaderboard, where do you need your users to filter the results?" - I need them to enter data and also be able to filter the results.

    Hello again Antonino

Every editable table (manual, imported or SQL Query based table) can be editable by users on front-end, if you enable editing for the chosen columns. Also, filters are applied to the table in back-end and front-end, so they would also be able to use the filters in the table.

In order to use "Users see and edit only own data" feature, you need to have the User ID column in the table, where the user's ID will be populated. If you don't predefine rows so the User ID column contains IDs of your users, they will first see an empty table, with only columns, and 0 rows.

When they add new lines into the table, their ID will be populated in the User ID column.

Ranking columns don't exist in the plugin, so you would probably need to use RANK() in the database, to create a table with variables in there. Since variables can't be used in a view, please take a look at this thread - it can help you set a local variable in a table valued function, which returns a result set (like a view does).

    Kind Regards,

    Thanks Aleksandar

I'm going to acquire your basic plan, because the fact that the user can edit the line that he fills in, is very important.

Regarding the classification, it is a sensitive detail, but I will have to organize it later, next to the plugin.

Thank you for your attention and any questions, I will contact you.
