I am using Amelia with the woocommerce integration. At the moment woocommerce sends email notifications for bookings but I need to be able to use the notification options in Amelia - woocommerce doesn't have enough flexibility.
The email configuration settings aren't working though, when I try to send a test email I receive a "Email has not sent" Error. I spoke to the hosting company and tried every combination of port and SSL certificate that I could think of but I can't get it to send emails. I am setting it up as an SMTP account. Can you help me? These events need to be live and working as soon as possible...
Sorry for the trouble. I can't say much about this without taking a look. The notification settings in Amelia are as simple as they get - you enter your credentials, and select the proper port and security (SSL or TLS), and that's pretty much it. Unless your hosting provider is blocking 3rd party SMTP settings, you should be good.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply, so nobody can see them except us.
