My master table references a view in SQL Server and sorts on a column that concatenates two others (i.e. I needed to sort on name then number, so I concatenated them into a single column value) but it is hidden when the page is shown. This works very well.
However, I've now added the Master-Detail plugin, and it would appear the detail popup window shows all the fields in the master table. Is there a way to select which columns I'd like to be visible in the popup window?

Access the column settings, and in the Display tab, disable the Master-Detail check-box if you don't want that column to appear in it:
