We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I am using Amelia to set up the training side of this business. I have limited experience in setting up this sort of thing. I need to set custom durations for events in days, instead of hours. Is this possible?
We are offering training courses which last from 3-6 days at a time and I think that setting the duration in hours could be misleading for customers.
Many thanks
Kailzie
Hi, Kailzie!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Unfortunately, at the moment there's no option to set a custom duration for Events/Services. But also, if you set an Event duration for a few days, it won't be shown in hours (only the starting and ending time will be shown):
Could you please provide us with a screenshot of an Event as an example?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.
We are offering training courses which range from 2-6 days. I have set each of the courses up as an event with special hours for each staff member. Unfortunately I can't use the services catalog because it allows customers to pick specific time slots in hours.
I have attached a screenshot of the first few courses that we are running.
I chose to use Amelia because I think it's a very professional looking plugin and it would be great if in the long run I could show the services on our website as well as the events, this would give more views for our customers to make bookings.
Thanks
Kailzie
Hi, Kailzie!
Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
And thank you for the kind words.
Unfortunately, we have no other way to display Events on a list. I think it's pretty clear that Events last for days and the hours are related only to starting and ending of the Events. Theoretically, this information regarding hours can be hidden with custom CSS, but in this case, your Customers won't be able to see the starting time, and also if I'm not mistaken you placed Amelia on a side bar, therefore this custom CSS can't be applied there.
Best Regards.
