We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
My client offers the same class, at different venues. I need to set a different class capacity at each venue - is this possible?
Many thanks,
Karl
Hi, Karl!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Each Service in Amelia can have only one combination of settings (i.e. price, duration, and capacity).
Therefore, in order to achieve that, you can use a workaround: create different Services for each location, and set capacity according to the venue. Also, you can add separate booking forms for each location by using the [ameliacatalog location=1] shortcode, for example.
We are always looking for ideas on how to make Amelia better. So if you have a couple of minutes, please suggest this feature on our website.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
Thanks Liza! Turns out, I didn't need it anyway as the government have changed my client's rules due to Covid (she is a fitness instructor) and all classes will be outdoors with a fixed capacity. But this is great to know for the future!
May I ask another question? I will open a new ticket if needed. I am setting up packages of 5 service bookings, but the service is available at more than one location. Currently, the customer has to select just one location. How can I allow the customer to use their package appointments at more than one location?
Many thanks,
Karl
Hi, Karl!
Hopefully, life will get back to normal soon, and this information will be useful.
Regarding the locations: I'm afraid, if you have only one Service, then all appointments are supposed to be booked in the same location.
However, Locations are related to Employees, so if you are willing to show the Location selection drop-down, please assign different locations to the Employees that perform the Service (also, you can assign them to Employees' working hours if they work in different locations during the week). But. as I said before, your Customers will be able to choose a location only for all appointments from the same Service.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Best Regards.
Thanks Liza.
