We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
please guide how to make a user with "Amelia Manager Role" + Amelia Employee" role?
Thank you
Roshan
Hi Roshan,
thank you for reaching out!
You can find the instruction on Amelia Users and Roles in our public documentation here.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi Ivana
thank you for you reply.
We have gone through the documentation you shared.
However our requirement is that we have someone in our healing centre who is a manager full-time, but also work as a freelance as a therapist. We are not able to list him on our website as a service provider. When we try to create a new employee with his email address, it says "This email already exists."
Can you please assist and guide me how to grant a user with two roles (1) Manager and (2) Employee.
Thank you
Roshan
Hi Roshan,
thank you for the kind reply!
I see.
Since you cannot create an Employee out of a Manager, as employee capabilities would override the ones of a manager.
So we would go in the opposite direction:
Delete the Manager from WP > Users.
Create a new employee for this person.
Then go to WP > Users again, and add them with email that you set in the Employee Details, as a Manager.
In this way you will have a Manager that will still be able to have Employee appointments.
Hi Ivana
We tried it as per your guidance.
And it is working.
Thank you for your kind support.
Roshan
