I am trying to create a site that has members (NOT PAID) where they can enter information into a table for a new client?
Each user can see only there own table with there own information. The admin can see a table with all users information.
When a new user is created a new blank table/form is created that they can enter their new information for a new client
Can I create Client user name and password?
And set it up like admin can see everything.
sales man 1. has 5 clients each has their own login account can add information into a table but can only see there clients information.
sales man 2. has 10 clients each has their own login account can add information into a table but can only see there clients information.
Clients can only see what is assigned to them and sales man can only see his clients
but admin can see all
Hi Chip
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately you will not be able to set username and password for your clients.
When a new user is created a new blank table/form is created that they can enter their new information for a new client - I'm afraid this is a no as well.
But you can link data to specific users with our plugin. To do this the table needs to be editable (so you would need to import the file, to create a manual table), and also you need to have the User ID field in the table. Meaning, if John has user ID = 5, when he logs into your WordPress site, and looks at the table, he'd only see his data if you selected the User ID column as the "User ID column" in the Editing tab above the table. If there's no user ID column, and they aren't logging into WordPress, this will not work.
You can enable the Show all rows in back-end option from the Editing tab of the table to see all entries in the back-end. You can also edit the table but if you edit the table as an administrator your User ID will be saved when you make the change so make sure to turn off the Users see and edit only own data option before editing.
OK I think you solved my problem. By assigning an id I can use one table and each user would only see there data by user ID
Exactly
