Creating a league style table

    Hi,

I have the pro version and the gravity forms integration.

As you can see from my table there are 6 columns and my queries are as follows (No 2 is the more important and urgent query)

    https://mytrackandfield.com/test/

    1. Total column sort - I am not able to sort this column. I have gone into table and column properties and the option is not there. I have seen it in some of your You Tube videos but that option is not there. I would like to be able to set this column to be sortable and ideally to be the default sort when someone comes to the page.

    2. I wish to create a second table like the premier league table from the 1st table. The table would be two columns - Club Name & Total Club Points. The total points column would show one figure for each club being the total points for that club. So if a club has ten people with ten scores, it will show the total of the ten people for that club. The table would then rank the clubs with highest total points on the top and so on down, just like the premier league. Is this possible?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards

    Brian

They do develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?

    Hi Brian

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. If you are using a formula column to calculate the sum please note there are some limitations

In tables with server-side processing formula columns cannot be used for grouping, filtering, and sorting. Basically, formulas are calculated only for the rows that are immediately visible; Therefore, it’s not possible to “know” the values for currently invisible rows. Please note that this also applies to the “Manual” tables, as they also use server-side processing by default. Also, of course, it is not possible to edit the cells generated by formulas in the editable tables.

    2. Unfortunately this is not possible using the plugin's builtin features.

It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.

But we can recommend these services for customization:
