We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi Team,
The most recent update broke my site and I have restored from backup.
My Amelia has vanished and I cannot install it again.
How do get Amelia and keep my configuration?
Kind regards,
Scott Lacey
Hi, Scott!
Please check your database, if the "wp_amelia_" (most probably they have this prefix, but if you have a different database prefix they'd be "your_prefix_amelia_") are still there. If so, then the plugin didn't vanish, but for some reason, it was unsuccessfully updated.
Please disable all other plugins and try to update Amelia manually:
If you can see Amelia pages, check if the option Delete plugin tables is disabled in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation before updating the plugin manually (it is disabled by default, but just in case).
1) Download the zip from our store
2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder
4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section
6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again
7) Clear server and browser cache
If it doesn't work, please send us your server log along with WP Admin access and FTP and database credentials, so our developers will log in and look into the issue from the inside. Please make sure you send them as a private reply.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
