    Hi there

Sorry I have another question! I am just setting up Amelia on my new website and I noticed when I create times for Services, events etc there is no option for 15 minute time slots? This is a slight concern as I often teach 75min classes..is there a way to adjust the time?

Also when booking clients they might not always be on the hour...I am loving the LOOK of this plug in but it seems very restricted in a lot of basic settings. I might need to reconsider using this....which I really don't want too!

    Thank-you

    Amy

    Hello again Amy

You need to change the Default Time Slot step in Amelia's General settings. Set it to be 15 minutes, or 5 minutes, in order to create 15-minute long services, working hours, etc.

Services are offered in a fixed duration, and when they'll be available depends on your employee's availability. If you are offering 75-minute-long classes, and your employees work from 09:00 - 17:00, they will be able to offer 6 classes during the day (assuming there's no buffer time involved).

If you want to allow your customers to book freely (so it's not fixed from 09:00 - 10:15; 10:15 - 11:30; and so on), you can disable "Use service duration for booking a time slot" slider in General Settings, and depending on the default time slot step you selected, they will be able to book anywhere in between.

For example, if you set the time slot step to be 5 minutes, they'd see available times from 09:00 - 10:15; 09:05 - 10:20; 09:10 - 10:25; and so on. Once a time slot is booked, though, 75 minutes will be blocked. So if no one books the first appointment (at 09:00), but they book an appointment at 09:15 - 10:30; no one will be able to book an appointment before 10:30.

    Kind Regards,
