Hi, I have been watching videos about wpdatatables for the last week, and I just purchased the premium plugin yesterday. I am relatively new to WordPress and MySQL. I am trying to connect my MySQL database and keep getting this error:
wpDataTables could not connect to mysql server. mysql said: There was a problem with your SQL connection - No such file or directory
I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Can someone help me with this?
Thanks,
Liz
Hello Liz
Thank you for your purchase.
I haven't seen this error before. Can you please send me the credentials for that separate DB connection (in a PRIVATE response), so I can test it locally?
Kind Regards,

Hi again Liz
I'm connecting to multiple separate databases which are all on my local machine, so that is not the issue.
The only thing that should be configured are the drivers.
Can you please check if you have the following drivers installed, and activated?
These drivers need to be installed and activated on the server where your WordPress website is. After you install and activate those drivers, it should work fine.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
