I have 2 practitioners at this location as follows
Practitioner - Kelvedon (NHS)
Practitioner - Kelvedon (PRIVATE)
I want both practitioners to work from the same calendar.
So for example, if a customer books an appointment between 9:15am - 10:00am for practitioner 1 above, the same time of 9:15am - 10:00am is still available if a customer books another appointment for practitioner 2
Please tell me how to ensure that any appointment time that is booked by a client is no longer available for any of my practitioners?
So, to clarify your requirements: you want the booked slot with Employee 1 to be unavailable for booking with Employee 2, is that correct?
In this case, you should connect both Employees to the same Google calendar (maybe by creating a new Google account that they both will have access to). Please find more information on how the integration can be set here.
So, once an Appointment with Employee 1 is booked, the information will be transferred to the Google Calendar and this slot will be unavailable for further booking in Amelia for Employee 2 as well.
I'm afraid, there's no way to set it up with the current built-in features in Amelia.
If you have one Service that is assigned to two Employees, then if this Service is booked with Employee 1, the same time slot will be still available with Employee 2. You can try using Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar integration to avoid booking with Employee 2. By connecting both Employees to the same calendar and enabling the "Remove Google/Outlook Calendar busy slots" option, you will make the time slots booked with Employee 1 marked as busy for Employee 2 as well. Unfortunately, there's no other way to set it up at the moment.
However, we are always looking for ideas on how to make Amelia better. So if you have a couple of minutes, please suggest this feature on our website.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
I thought that you had left the country because after 5 days of waiting I fell off my chair when I saw your reply. My business has already suffered due to a 5 day delay in your response.
What is you SLA out of interest?
I see. Okay I'll have to find another way and maybe use your suggested Google or Outlook Calendar methods. Are these free? Or is there some minimal charge?
We don't work on weekends (which can cause a delay). However, thank you for the feedback, I joined the Amelia team not that long ago, so I'm still looking for the most efficient way of processing tickets.
No, there are no charges for both integrations. The guides in our documentation are really clear and I believe there will be no issue to set an integration.
Please let us know if you face any difficulties. I will try my best to respond at the earliest possible time.

Hi, Douglas!
I apologize for the delayed response.
And thank you for choosing Amelia.
You can create a Service, assign it to each of the Employees in their profiles, add it to their working hours, for example:
So, it will work the way you require: if one slot is booked with Practitioner 1, the same slot will be still available with Practitioner 2.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Best Regards.

Hello Liza,
What if we do not use Google in our business? Can I do it in Amelia?
