We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Dear Amelia Team,

In our skincare clinic, clients can choose to pay online upon booking OR to pay cash at the front desk when they arrive for their appointment.

Paying online gives them a 10% discount IF they are members.

How do I establish this in Amelia?

    1. We use WooCommerce
    2. We have a custom Amelia field "is member" but we currently cannot verify membership against the client's WP user role
    3. We cannot enable WooCommerce and keep "Cash payment" active in Amelia

Could you please help me to understand this better?

    Thanks

    Hi Rogier,

thank you for reaching out to us; I apologize for the later reply as we don't work on weekends.

We currently have a discount option of creating a coupon with a code that you can provide to your clients after x number of appointments they booked, or a coupon they can use for x number of appointments that you set.

However, Amelia unfortunately does not have a "member" filter currently, so you would need to send these coupons to members manually.

You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if there is such request there and vote for it.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
