I have a dataset which I have used to create a table (all working). I've now tried to create a chart with this dataset. Specifically, I have 5 columns of integers (named Grade 0 - Grade 4) and I wish to show the total value of the integers of these columns in a bar graph (the sum). For the avoidance of doubt, I'd like to plot the columns along the horizon axis and show their sum total on the vertical. When I create a bar graph (or any graph for that matter) the horizontal axis shows values from the columns, and plots the number of these values occurring (see attachment). I have tried the 'grouping function' and it does not work. Is there a way I can show the total values (summed) in a bar on a graph? Thanks
The charts can only show the data that exists in columns, so you can't use the calculation functions and show them on a chart.
You also cannot change what will be shown on which axis without restructuring the table (pivoting it, for example). The only thing that comes to mind is to create another table which will store all this data in one row, and then add a Formula Column which would calculate the SUM for that row.
Thanks so much for your reply, sadly this function would be a necessity for me to make use of the plugin, for this reason can I request a refund for the product?
You're still in the 15-day money-back guarantee period, so you can log into http://store.tms-plugins.com/ with the credentials you received in your e-mail when you purchased the plugin, then navigate to Purchases/Amelia, and if you're still within 15 days from purchase you will see the "Request Refund" button.
If you don't see it, and you're using a screen with width lower than 1600px, you will need to scroll through that screen horizontally to see the button.
After you submit a refund request, you will not receive any confirmation emails, but you will see that the button is grayed out:
That means that the refund request is successfully submitted, and that you will receive your refund in 5 - 7 business days.
