Hello I need to add a document in PDF format to the email notifications, but when I click on the attachment icon it does not work, and when I want to upload an image, I have the same problem it does not work.

    Hi Josefh,

    thank you for contacting us!

Can you please let me know in which format the image is, and if your WordPress 5.7 and Amelia 3.1.2 are fully upgraded to these versions.

Hello, I have tried different formats .jpg and .png, but I have tried to upload .pdf files that are the most important and it does not allow it, I attach images of the versions.

    I see Josefh,

you wanted to add an attachment to a customer notification; this feature is in the works right now and is not yet included. You can currently only attach files in that format in notifications for employees. For customers you can only add a picture in jpg, jpeg, or png format.

Are the jpeg images or png still coming out as broken when you send the email to a customer?

  • Josefh Fernando Mejia Leiva replied

Ok, understood that the PDF option does not work.

Yes, the images still do not load when the notification arrives to the client, I send a photo of the aforementioned.

    Hello Josefh,

thank you for the screenshot provided.

I apologize for the late response, as we don't work on weekends.

Please try adding them one by one, so add one and click on Save and then add another one then Save, etc; or adding them all at once to one template.

Let me know if this helped. There is some issue with adding more images at once to the Message field, and our developers will check it out. Sorry for any inconveniences this have caused.

    Hello the problem continues.
I already tried according to the instructions and in the same way not loading, or uploading one by one

    Hi Josefh,

    thank you for trying anyway!

Would you mind then providing me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, because I would like to try and do so from my side, as I cannot replicate this issue in my WP.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi Josefh,

thank you for the credentials provided.

I have made multiple attempts of adding pictures of multiple different formats (png, jpeg, jpg, bmp), and it was strangely successful.

Also, the moment I entered your notifications, in Appointment Approved, there was an image of a beautiful site with a truck and tents (I am assuming that this is the one shown in your screenshot as "broken"); it's fully visible for me and I was able to add more images to it.

Could you please try clearing out your cache, and changing the browser you're using to see if it will change.

If the settings in the email client are correct and your contact still can't view images:

    • If you're using image URLs that are hosted outside of your Constant Contact Library, make sure the images are hosted on a public web server. If your images are stored on your personal computer or if you need a password to access an image, it won't display in an email.
    • Firewall and intrusion prevention security programs can block URLs or IP addresses, which can prevent images from showing in your emails or prevent the web version of your email from displaying. Have your contact safelist Constant Contact URLs to make sure images from your Library can display.
    • Sometimes the image is just too large or in a format that the email client doesn't support; the most common formats are JPG, PNG.

We don't have any Image Blockers active within our plugin, so please try the above and let me know.

  • Josefh Fernando Mejia Leiva replied

Hello, if that is the image, the problem occurs when I send the mail, my clients see the "X" when it enters the mail.

    Hi Josefh,

thank you for the kind reply.

I apologize for the later response, as we don't work on weekends.

Can you please tell me if you personally can make a est booking as a customer, and tell me if you see it as X on your computer? Because this can be due to individual computers and settings, and not due to your picture or notifications.

    Muchas gracias.
