I am looking to purchase amelia plugin for my wordpress site and I have questions regarding multiple booking option. I need to speak to someone urgently.
I am looking to get Amelia but I have a requirement that my customers should be able to make multiple bookings for different dates and times in the same transaction instead of just being able to book only 1 date and time at a time.
I think that is extremely important for a lot of businesses out there to let their customers book multiple dates and times in the same sitting instead of making multiple bookings one after the other.
Does amelia offer clients being able to make multiple bookings for different dates and times in the same sitting?
Currently multiple bookings can be made in the same transaction only if they are a part of Packages of Services.
Via Packages, you can combine multiple services, and even discount them, to offer them as a "bulk" to your clients. Within Packages, you can choose which Services you'd like to join, how many appointments will a client have available to book (example: 3 appointments in the span of one month for each service), and even choose whether there will be a discount or not for the Package of Services.
Multiple bookings unfortunately cannot be made currently within the normal booking of services; you can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if there is such request there and vote for it.
I apologize for the later response as we don't work during weekends.
You can check out the demos here, or optionally, if you purchase Amelia, and see within 15 days of purchase that it does not suit your business model, you can contact us within those 15 days for a refund.
Please let me know beforehand, have you purchased a licence or you're testing Stripe in Lite version? Because in Lite PayPal and Stripe payment types are not supported but you can use On-site payment type.
I can't actually see if you have TEST credentials enabled, but since you're using the test card, that should be enabled. So, if you have test enabled, and using a test card, it should work. Also LIVE Stripe should be disabled.
Could you please tell me have you tried booking a test appointment with your card and had the same issue?
You can also try clearing out cache - this also helps.
If it doesn't still work, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just please mark PRIVATE REPLY as this ticket is public.
As mentioned previously, I have purchased the plugin.
I actually ended up doing a real purchse instead of a test purchase to see if it works and it is working and real purchases are going through.
So far the plugin is providing me with the things I need, However, I have several concerns that should be fixed:
1) - Can you allow me to change the order in which packages and single service shows on the site in 'catalog view'. For example, by default all the packages are listed first and then single services. I would like to have my service listed first then the packages in the 'catalog view'. Is there a way for me to change that order. *(attachment "1")*
2) - When picking a service from the 'amelia booking view' and if the service is also offered as a package, the offered package says "available in package" , it confuses the customer into thinking that specific service is only availalbe in that package and they may not purchase at all. is there a way to clearly specify that it is an "additional package" and they can proceed to buy without picking the package? *(attachment 2)*
Thanks that really will help with the catalog view! I will do that.
2) For the ameliabooking view, I do want the packages to show, However, I do not want customers to think that services is available in those packages only. I need a way for customers to see that those packages in the booking view are additional offers and they can process without chosing a package if they want to.
No worries, I'll have to manage somehow I guess untill you guys decide to make that adjustment ( which I highly recommend, it's good UX).
Another thing I am having trouble with. When my employee logs in to the employee panel and then goes to another page on my website and then comes back to employee panel, it gets automatically logged out.
Is there a way to keep the employee logged in as long he is within the same website?
Can you please in the future send me separate issues as separate tickets; as I would be able to sort and find them more easily, and help you better.
For the UX, sure, this is why I provided a feature request page because we make new features depending on the votes by clients there.
For the employee - he should not be logged out like that; in fact, even if he leaves the site (closes tab), and opens that same tab again, he will be logged in unless he Logs Out of the panel. Is there some setting in the browser that is preventing this? If not, please provide me with WP temporary admin credentials so that I can take a look inside.
For the packages - when you rearrange them in the settings like in the screenshot 222, it determines the way they will be displayed in [ameliacatalog] view, not booking window. For the view in booking window, they cannot unfortunately be rearranged.

Is there any place I can see a demo of this before i decide to purchase the plugin?
i really need to make sure it is what I am looking for.
Thanks

Thanks,
I have purchased a copy of Amelia.
However I am having some issues:
1- Does Amelia let the customers choose which employee they'd like to book the service with?
2- How do I change the available time for employees from 24 hr clock to 12 hr clock?
Hi Paaras,
thank you for replying!
1. Yes, customers can choose, if you have more than one employee on one service.
2. Amelia has the time set in Word Press, so you can change the clock to 24hr format in WordPress settings.
Ivana,
I am looking to run a test purchase using stripe. I have stripe already set up and test API keys pasted.
when I try to run a test purchase with a random credit card number, it does not let me continue the pruchase.
can you help?

Hi Paaras,
thank you for letting me know; I'm glad to hear purchases go trough!
1) You can try arranging the shortcodes one before another like this:
[ameliacatalog category=1 show=services]
[ameliacatalog category=1 show=packages]
The category is needed only if you have different categories, if not, remove that part only. The frontend view is like the one in the attachment.
2) Similarly, place the shortcode below, if you'd like to exclude packages from being shown in the booking:
[ameliabooking show=services]
Ivana,

Hi Paaras,
thank you for the kind reply; I'm glad that solution was suitable for you.
Unfortunately, except the suggested, we don't have a way to change the booking page to indicate this differently at the moment.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if there is such request there and vote for it.
