We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello all,
one question:
Is it possible to refresh a table by click on a button without reloading the whole page?
Best regards
Jorg
Hi Jörg
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You can use the Auto-refresh feature to set the interval in which your tables will be automatically refreshed.
Tables linked to an existing data source (all but SQL query based tables) do not have the auto-refresh feature.
You could, however utilize the meta refresh, so your page reloads after a certain interval.
If you are not planing on using filters, as a workaround you can use the Clear Filters button for this as well.
Hello Blaženka,
thanks a lot for answering.
I know that I can set an auto refresh interval.
But I want to refresh only by user action (click on a button).
It would be helpful if you can give me a hint how to achieve this.
Best regards
Jorg
You are most welcome
Unfortunately the only solution to have a button with this function is adding the clear filters button which refreshes the table once you click on it.
The plugin can be translated using POEDIT or Loco Translate easily. I suggest installing Loco Translate, since it's within WordPress and it has a simple UI so you can change the text of the Clear Filters button to whatever you like.
