Firstly your product is great, ticks almost all the boxes for me.
One big thing though........
I urgently need the ability to have different employees operating with different currencies (only USD and AUD) not just one currency for the entire service. Is this possible? and if not is there plans to work this in in a rough timeframe? Given the changing world with Covid and the fact that people are working across borders and currencies in digital form, now more than ever, I believe this is a very required feature from lots of your users.
Alternatively as a short term work around given then next page on my woocommerce checkout offers currency conversion, is there a way I can hide the pricing information at the bottom of the Amelia form here (attached)? Then I could just have the price displayed in the service title and do my own currency labelling for different employees and their services.
Unfortunately, Amelia supports only one currency at the moment; the development of the feature depends on the need of clients for it.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. It works like this: features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to multiple currency switch being developed sooner.
You can try it with WooCommerce Currencies, however, I cannot guarantee it will work - please do feel free to try.
You can hide the price from this booking step, just please provide me with the link to your page where Amelia Booking is so that we can create a custom CSS.
div:nth-child(1) > form > div:nth-child(3) > div > div > div.am-confirmation-total.el-row {
display: none!important;
}
Regarding time, it cannot be hidden unfortunately. However, if you don't need time slots separately in one day, you can set the service duration to the same amount of hours as your employee has. For example if employee works for 8 hours a day, set service duration for 8 hours. In this way when a client clicks on a date, they will only see one slot of full day to choose.
However, please bear in mind that you would have to increase the amount of people allowed to book so that day would not become unavailable after one person books.
I need some help please with an event I have set up. It is a paid event to be hosted on Zoom by an employee that only paying customers can attend.
I have integrated Zoom and created the event but have the below questions:
1. In the Event Booked email notification, how do I send a placeholder for a private zoom link specific to the customer that has paid to book?
2.The event will have up to 100 attendees how do I ensure the link can only be used by customers that have purchased to book (and not shared for free between friends over the internet) ? Is the placeholder %attendee_code% used in this instance to create a one time only access code to the zoom meeting?
I apologize for the later response, due to the Easter holidays we've had.
For events, once you click on one of the event booking notifications you will see four different placeholders at the bottom of the list:
%zoom_host_url_date% – this is the placeholder that you need to paste in employees’ event notifications if you want to show the url with date.
%zoom_host_url_date_time% – this is the placeholder that you need to paste in employees’ event notifications if you want to show the url with date and time
%zoom_join_url_date% – this is the placeholder that you need to paste in customers’ event notifications if you want to show the url with date.
%zoom_join_url_date_time% – this is the placeholder that you need to paste in customers’ event notifications if you want to show the url with date and time.
They will automatically turn into the link for the specific event for the customer who applied for that event.
Unfortunately we don't yet have an option to make the link more exclusive to not be shared; it can be clicked from the customer email or accessed from the Customer Panel (except sending the Zoom link in notifications you can also find it inside the appointments and events information, customers can also find their link if they access their Front-end Customers Panel. The link will be shown once they click on three dots icon next to the appointment/event and click on “Join Zoom Meeting”).
