I have set up a service in Amelia and successfully linked it to the WooCommerce product.  When customers visit the product / service page they automatically see the add to cart button.  When they click on this it adds the product / service to the cart without having had to schedule the appointment.  How can I ensure that customers have to schedule the appointment before adding it to the cart?

    Many thanks in advance

    Good Day!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia!

WooCommerce integration is being used as a payment getaway in Amelia. So, there's only one way it can work: a Customer books an Appointment in Amelia on your site and then pays for it through WooCommerce. There's no way to let Customers pick the Appointments through WooCommerce and then redirect them to the booking page.

Also, unfortunately, the cart option doesn't work with this integration at the moment. Only one appointment can be book at once.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Liza,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I think perhaps I didn't communicate the issue clearly enough.

When the customer views the service they seem to be able to either choose a time and date (great) but then it doesn't go into the woocommerce cart OR they can click add to cart and are then unable to choose a time and date for the appointment.  When they need to be able to do is choose the time and date and then add it to the cart.  This doesn't seem possible.

I don't see the point in any woo commerce integration if it doesn't enable scheduled services to be paid for NOR allows services to be paid for but not scheduled.

    Kind regards

    Good day!

    Thank you for the explanation.

WooCommerce integration works the way you require. Therefore, I assume, there's something wrong with the settings, that's why appointments don't end up in the cart.

"When customers visit the product / service page they automatically see the add to cart button" - Could you please provide us with the screenshots, since this is not how it's supposed to work and I don't really understand where this option comes from?

    Best Regards.

Thank you for your reply.  Is there any guidance on how to set this up?  I have already been through the documentation and not found any other way to set it up.
    Kind regards

The only guide we have is this one. But it's pretty clear (especially the video part).

Also, please make sure you created both Cart and Checkout pages.

    Best Regards.
