I was wondering if there is a way for someone to book and appointment for the purpose of gifting it to someone else? Is there a checkbox that can be added that means it's going to be gifted for someone else and that can be clear on a notification email?

thank you so much for reaching out to us; I apologize for the late reply as we don't work on weekends.
There isn't such possibility in Amelia with its current built-in features, unfortunately; only the customer who booked the appointment can use it.
Alternatively, you can create a Custom Field in the booking window, where the booking customer will enter someone else's information; however, the Appointment itself will still be booked on the original customer and they will get email notifications for this appointment.
You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if there is such request there and vote for it.
