Hi, how can I allow my employees to link their google calendars to their profile ? At the moment it seems that only Amelia admin can link a google calendar to an employee.
Each employee should log in to the back-end and connect to their Google calendar in their profile for the synchronization to work:
As far as I remember, you have User Role Editor installed on your WP. So if your Employees can't see this option in their profiles or their profiles in general, please check if they have the "amelia_read_employees" and "amelia_write_employees" capabilities enabled.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to connect the Google Calendar on the front-end Employee panel, only in the Employee's profile on the back-end (so, the way you see it as Admin, basically).
Therefore, your Employees have to access the back-end and connect their Calendars there.
I have this same issue, we don't want employees accessing the back area. I've tried to add this as a suggested feature a couple of times as it is a common request but can't see any sign of it to be able add a vote.
Yes this is a bad situation. What we deiced to do, because we run a service market place with multiple coaches, is to create for each coach, an email adress and a google account. We will then link this google account to Amelia, and give the credentials to the coach. He can then use this google account or simply share the calendar feed to his own personal google account and calendar. This is not something I would like to do.... but it seems we have no choice.
Alternatively, we can create them a temporary access to Amelia manger, and they could add their own google account, but it does mean they will see all other accounts and coaches in the back end.... that is not ideal.
Amelia's Employees can add their Calendars on the back-end by default, or, in your case, with certain permission in User Role Editor. They won't see all the Employees or any other information that is not related to them.

Hi, Yves!
That's great that you found a workaround.

HI Liza, can you contact me in private to help me set this up ?
Hi, Yves!
Please provide me with temporary WP Admin access.
