We installed the latest version of Amelia which has the Events calendar added.
When we use the Gutenberg editor, and add the 'Events' block, we can select the type (list or calendar) but nothing will appear in the page after we save it.
When we try to add the shortcode through a text module, the options for the event calendar do not even show up.
We've had no issues with the new events calendar, so it could be a conflict with another plugin or the theme you're using. Can you please update the plugin to v3.1.1 (released yesterday), clear your cache and try again?
If it fails, please provide me a temporary wp-admin user (administrator) in a PRIVATE response, so I can take a look and see what's going on.
We have set up a temp staging site to test this issue again, and currently the ONLY plugin active is Amelia. We are still encountering a problem with this function. The site tries to load the calendar, the spinning icon shows, but then the calendar disappears and won't render.
We are going to set up a temp wp-admin for the staging site for you and I'll private message you the details and the url.
There's a conflict with the theme, definitely, and our developers will fix it for our next update. Until then, please download the attached file and replace the files in:
Thanks for the quick response and fix!! We'll update the file.
On another note: I have a second open ticket, PUBLIC TICKET #2784428, that may also be a theme problem.
When an employee goes in to edit any details in an EVENT that is already scheduled, there are several problems that have randomly happened. We've had to disable the option for employees to add/edit events because it has caused a LOT of problems...events changing dates/times that were not edited, events completely disappearing from the schedule, and other random occurrences. Oddly, there is no pattern, we can't exactly duplicate any of this, but something goes wrong about 75% of the time when an employee edits an event. As the admin, I have had no trouble editing, only from the employee panel do we see problems.
If you can check that ticket and see if this may also be caused by the theme that would be a huge help!
I'm glad to have been of service, Jason, you're welcome.
I see Liza is working with you on that other ticket, so she'll help you out. In short, what you're saying should not be possible.
I remember there was a customer with a similar issue about a month ago, but I cannot find that ticket. If I remember correctly, they were logged into WordPress as well when they logged into the employee panel, and that created the issue. Can you check if you're doing the same thing?
Log into the panel through incognito tab, and see if you can replicate the issue that way.

Hey, Jason, thank you for providing the log-in for the staging site. I'll forward it to our developers for testing.
Tell me, are we allowed to change the theme and disable other plugins, since everything was enabled when I logged in?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Yes, it's a blank staging site that we don't intend to push to live, so do whatever you need to for testing.
Hello again Jason
The theme is causing this. When I change to Twenty Nineteen, it works fine:
I reverted to the other theme and forwarded the issue to one of our front-end developers. As soon as I hear from him I will let you know.

Hi again Jason
There's a conflict with the theme, definitely, and our developers will fix it for our next update. Until then, please download the attached file and replace the files in:
wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/js/chunks/
wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/public/js/chunks/
After that delete cache from your website, and it should work fine.
