We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I have a client that would like clients to have the option to pay a deposit OR full price, what is a good way to execute this? I am thinking of having a custom classes/services page with two buttons, "Reserve with Deposit" or "Book and Pay".. but that seems sloppy to me.

    Hi, Jacob!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

Unfortunately, at the moment it's not possible to receive deposits for Appointments. But there's a workaround for that.

The only thing we can suggest to you at the moment is a workaround. For example, you have a Service with a price of $50 and requires a deposit of 20%. Then you can set $50*20% = $10 as a price to be paid online through PayPal/Stripe/WooCommerce and receive the remaining $40 at the spot in cash. In order to make it clear for Customers, you will be able to add a note to the Service description and to explain this payment scenario.

Also, it's possible to set only one price for each service in Amelia, so it'll be either Deposit or the full amount.

However, deposit payments are on our to-do list. This feature will be implemented in one of the coming updates.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Best Regards.
