    Hi,

Ive been setting up Amelia for my business and came across the following problems if you could please advise me.

    • I went to events(for exercise classes) and have to create new events - (I thought I could pick from the services because then why have it under service)
    • But when I create new event (3 in total),
      - in one event it made up all new links for each weeks class(meant to be a 6week course), and showed them up each week - Abs & arms
      - Pilates Monday- Only showed the one class in the events
      - Pilates Tues - all the one link, but showed up all 6 classes??
    • Does this mean also that I create the zoom classes in amelia now and not on zoom itself?
    • Then for these classes I wanted to block out my calender during these times, but the only way I can see it is creating a new client which I'm sure couldnt be right.
    • or how i go about blocking out times already booked?
    • I then created a new client and tired to block out the calender, but it wouldnt allow me to book at 9.30am (only 9.20am available) for a few weeks then 9.30am was unavailable for some of the weeks and offered me 7.30am.  There was nothing else on the calender!

I didnt then create any appointments again as its doing all the same as in the services, or will this be needed to be done.

    Hope all this makes sense.

    Many Thanks

    Lynda

    Hi Lynda,

thank you so much for contacting us.

I apologize for the late response, we don't work on weekends.

I will be happy to help you:

    • Events and Services are two separate booking systems, and they are created and managed separately.
    • If your classes are frequent, and have a set schedule where clients can pick which date and time of the class they want to attend (and you have multiple time slots to choose from), I would kindly suggest using Services instead. Events are convenient for classes that are happening only once during a day (they don't have multiple time slots to choose from), or are happening once during a day, over the course of multiple days (since, if client attends one day of event they will be automatically signed up for the full duration of the event).
    • You can set up links in Amelia that will lead the students to your Zoom class meeting. They can be added in Email Notifications, so once a client books a class that will be made over Zoom, by adding a placeholder for the invite, they will be able to click on it and join this class.
    • Booked time slots can only become unavailable if you are using them trough Services. If you are creating a class over Events, this class would have to have max attendees of 1 person, and to close fully as soon as it is booked (and again only for one day since client will be signed up for all available times.)
    • If you create your classes as advised, however, the issues persist, please let me know.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I've managed now to get the classes logged into events and tried booking some appointments and both have now blocked off my calender which is great.

The next issue is that when I booked an event:

EG: Pilates class every Monday evening at 7pm for 6 weeks €45 for course.

It is giving new zoom links for each week.  Is there a way to just have one link, for the 6weeks.

    Many Thanks

    Lynda

    Hi Lynda,

    thank you for contacting back!

I'm sorry to hear that happened; could you please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.

You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi Lynda,

thank you for the credentials provided.

I apologize for the late response as we don't work on weekends.

Would you kindly check the WP login page that you have sent me as ?loggedout=true does not allow access, and https://www.bodykore.ie/wp-login is not found on your site.

    Hi Lynda,

thank you so much for the kind reply.

It was a regional lock; it's all right.

    Nothing should be blocked anymore.

As for the event question, recurring events are counted as separate events. This is why Zoom link is different every time.

    Hi Lynda,

thank you for the kind reply.

Unfortunately, this is the only way link is sent currently in Amelia; at the moment that isn't a planned feature yet, however you can suggest it here, and users will be able to vote for it and it can be considered in the future. We have a lot of feature requests,  the most requested features are in the top of the list and we really try to implement as many new features in each update.

I can see that your licence was purchased on 16th of February; since it's been far past the refund period time, there's nothing I can do to help with cancellation, unfortunately.

Please note that per our refund policy, since Amelia is a digital non-revocable product, we issue refunds only within 15 days after purchase, and it is customers responsibility to understand this upon purchasing products from us.

You could keep the product, and, as advised provide a suggestion in feature requests, for implementation.

    Thank you for understanding.
