We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I need to create bookings for WooCommerce for services placed on many towns.
So users will need to search a service by date and location.
Do you have this feature?
Or do you know how to implement it?
Hi Andrea,
thank you for taking interest in Amelia, and for contacting us!
Amelia has an integration with WooCommerce, if your chosen payment gates are theirs, and if you already have products with them.
Amelia can provide you Locations, where you can assign services and employees to different cities. If you set up a city as a Location, customers will be able to browse them and pick a city where they want to book the service in.
The available dates are shown for each service in the booking window, so it would be necessary to pick a location before picking a date.
I hope this helps.
Hi Ivana,
and thanks for your answer.
Some more questions.
If the customer enter a city in which we don't have any service he won't see anything?
Do you use a library for autocomplete locations?
Is there for the customer the funtion to search for radius distance from his location?
Hi Andrea,
Yes, exactly; search only works for the locations that you have created for your services.
As Amelia currently does not have a geo location filter, it would be necessary to create separate locations on separate Amelia Booking windows, or separate WordPress pages, in order for the search to show them (or list them on one page).
If you wish to do so, may I kindly ask you to add geo location, or zip code filter search as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
