    Dear,

i want to buy the full version of Amelia. But before i do it, i would first know severals little things :

    1) If i buy let say the Basic lifetime version, and next year, i want to upgrade to the pro lifetime version, is it possible to pay the difference or do i have to buy it again ?

    2) Are SMS notifications enable with the Basic lifetime version, and do are they sent to clients too ?

    3) This is the "planning" i would realize for know with Amelia :

    Weekly available appointments :

    2 on monday (beetween 18h-23h)
    4 on wednesday  (beetween 18h-23h)
    2 on Thursday  (beetween 18h-23h)
    2 on Friday  (beetween 18h-23h)
    2 on Sunday (beetween 7h-10h)

Would it be possible to do this ?

    4) Is it possible to modify the payment text (Sur place) by something else, as i would propose my clients to pay with TWINT.

    Kind regards,

    David Perroud

    Hello David,

thank you for taking interest in Amelia, and for contacting us!

I will be happy to answer your questions:

    1. Yes, if you decide to switch from one Lifetime licence to another, only the difference needs to be paid; just contact us when you are ready to do so.
    2. Yes, SMS notifications are included in Basic licence; they are sent to clients and employees, respectively. However, you as an Admin, can decide which notifications are sent (maybe you'd like to have them all send, maybe only some; completely up to you and can be managed anytime in Settings)
    3. This kind of schedule is possible, absolutely. You can customize every day in the week - the important thing is to align employee's working hours so that it can fit the amount of appointments that you need for that day.
    4. We have few payment options; one of them is an integration with WooCommerce. You can check with them if they are offering TWINT as one of their payment gateways.

    Best regards

Thank you very much for your reply. I have two last question:

I looked the free version and i don’t understand how i can for exemple open 2 appointments for monday, beetween 18h - 23h) but without adding hours, because the duration may vary between 45min to an hour.
And on Wednesday i would open 4 appointments with same hours.

i want that my clients book online, and not me adding them.

    the last question is :

Do you have money back warranty if it does not do what i expected ?

    Kind regards!

    Hi David,

    thank you for contacting back!

It is needed for an appointment to have a predetermined duration; unfortunately, within Amelia features it is currently not possible to leave appointment time as flexible.

You can if you wish, create 2 working times for Monday for your employee. Set them to work from 18 to 21, then Add Time, and set the second work time to be 21 to 23. Set duration in the service to 3h. In this way you will have 2 available 3hr slots for your 2 appointments that day. If you add Buffer time, you can set service duration to 1hr (Buffer time after and before should be set to 1hr each).

You don't need to add clients, it's only optional. You can go to Amelia > Settings > Roles > and enable the option Automatically create Amelia Customer user, so that your clients are automatically registered when booking an appointment.

We have a refund policy that lasts within 15 days of purchase; in case that you find Amelia unsuitable for your business, you can contact us before these 15 days expire, and we will issue a full refund for you.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi David,

thank you as well for the kind reply, and for letting me know that you tested out these options trough the demo.

There are many combinations that you can create, still, it's important to us that you have the one that is most suitable to your business.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions during setup, David, I'll be happy to help you out.

Of course, you can always contact within 15 days from purchase, and we can issue a refund.

You can also try setting up Recurring Service; it will only ask you to determine if the service will repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. Then, when the customer clicks Repeat This Service on the calendar, they will be prompted to state how many times they want it repeated, or until which date.

    Hi David,

    thank you for contacting back.

I apologize for the later reply; I can see it in a similar way, when I go to your website the services list goes only upwards, and only sometimes (for example, when I zoom out the page to about 80%) will go downwards, or be centered across the booking window.

However, on my colleague's desktop, the list goes perfectly aligned with the tab, and opens downwards.

Due to this, we have come to the conclusion that this is a minor bug, and I do apologize for it; we will make sure to include the fix in one of the next updates.

As advised, for now it works for bigger resolution screens.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi David,

exactly; so this is why we will have this in plan for a future implementation, as it is important for Amelia to be seen fully aligned in all views.

I have forwarded it to the developers, and I apologize for the current inconvenience that it's causing, David.

We will make sure to work on it so that we can implement it as soon as possible.
