Hi team, sorry for contacting you as I know your really busy so no rush. Is it possible to attach the meeting invite (ics) as an attachment for the employee notification so they can click and add to their outlook calendar?

I know you have the Outlook integration but we don't use it as all notifications go to the team manager who then assigns to staff.

    Thanks

    Hi Gary,

we always have time for inquiries; I will be happy to help you!

Unfortunately, Amelia does not have an option of adding attachments to email notifications at the moment.

However, you can add your team manager's email to Amelia > Settings > Notification Settings > enable Send all notifications to additional addresses.

Then, go to Amelia > Settings > General Settings > enable Send ics file in the notifications.

In this way your manager will receive these files via Notifications that are automatically sent to Employees and Customers.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you Ivana, great suggestion but it doesn't really work for us.

If I enable Amelia > Settings > Notification Settings > enable Send all notifications to additional addresses. it then sends all client notifications to the employee too which means we then get the admin & client notification emails which is confusing.

I tried enabling  Amelia > Settings > General Settings > enable Send ics file in the notifications but that just sends an ics file to the client and not the employee. I also checked the client email ics and all it had was the service name, date & time, no client information so again not so useful for us.

One for the future maybe but it would be great to allow the employee to receive the ics file which contained client name, number, date, time & service.

    Just a thought :)

    Hi Gary,

I have some good news regarding this matter.

In our latest update version 3.1, we have included a feature that resolves this for you - you can add attachments to send attachments as link in the employees notifications.

In this way you can attach the ICS file for your employees, in notifications they receive.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you Ivana, much appreciated.

I am using 3.1, maybe I'm being blind but I cant see an option anywhere to add this? I tried enabling  Amelia > Settings > General Settings > enable Send ics file in the notifications but that just sends an ics file to the client and not the employee?

    Hello Gary,

thank you for the kind reply.

I must apologize as I have made an oversight of the source of the attachment; for now this attachment can only be pulled from the Custom Field Attachment, where the customer can upload a file.

However, the developers advised that very soon this option will be available for employees as well (it is currently in development, not in a pre planning stage), so that they can receive ICS files automatically.

Thanks Ivana, appreciate the answer. Ill keep a look out for the update.

May I ask another very quick question? I had an email today telling me my subscription expires on 13th March. I wasnt aware I had any subscription as I purchased direct from you. What happens if I choose not to take the annual subscription up? Will Amelia stop working, will I still get product / security updates on Amelia?

    Kind regards

    Gary

    Hi Gary,

In case that you opt for not renewing the subscription for Amelia, it will keep working, you will still have all of your data.

However, yes, it won't be able to update, and therefore we wouldn't be able to provide support further (since with updates a lot changes, so most of the issues that occur would be due to lack of an update).

Still, you would be able to fully use that version of Amelia that you currently have, nothing would change.

Good morning Ivana, I have tried now for 3 days to renew the subscription but the paddle site just wont take it. It refuses the payment, I have contacted the bank who say there is no requests for payment and the card is fine so a little confused?

Is there a PayPal email address we could pay to? It expires today so any hep appreciated.

    Hi Gary,

    thank you for reaching out.

I'm sorry to hear that Paddle did not accept the renewal - purchase of the basic licence was made on 13th of March 2020, and has expired on the same day this year.

You can now simply purchase the licence again (annual if you wish), and proceed as you are purchasing it for the first time.

Just, when you get a new purchase code, replace it with the old one in Amelia > Settings > Activation.

Hi Ivana, thanks for your email. Buying as new goes through Paddle again, so wont accept. Do you have a PayPal email address that I can send payment too?

Also if I buy a new licence I'm guessing I will then have to change my licence activation in the plugin, is that correct?

Finally, I know your real busy but do you have an Amelia roadmap that's public so I can see what's in the plans for the next year? A lot of the updates such as packages & payments stuff we don't actually use and the bits we would really like don't seem to be in the plans to include :)

A few of our feature requests that we asked..

     - Google ADs tracking
    - Email placeholder for admin notifications to show source of user (ie: facebook, google ads, google organic etc)
    - Front end css, need to be able to change look of calendar and form fields (add placeholders, remove labels etc etc)
    - Disable final screen and go direct to 'thankyou' page

    Hi Gary,

    thank you for contacting back!

So, I have checked with colleagues as well, since it is very strange that Paddle will not allow you to make a transaction.

Can you please log into the TMS Store and check if your March 13th 2020 subscription is cancelled? Also, please check if the annual subscription was not taken from your card already (since it's automatic).

Also please let me know which error message pops up when you get rejected by Paddle.

Additionally, here is our current Roadmap; however, please bear in mind that next update is still in development and that we are still adding most requested features (the more votes they get) on the way to publishing :-)
