In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

I have a need where the starting time and ending time for a service has to be entered by the end-user in the form (for example inside pre-defined 8:00-22:00, he can choose start at 9:00 and ends at 14:00, unless already booked by someone else). For this client, it's about renting venues. How can I set the services up for that?
I searched and didn't find, as far as I know, I can only predefine time slots, which my client doesn't want.

thank you so much for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately at the moment, Amelia only has predefined time slots, as you saw. Alternatively client could leave workhours 8 - 22, and set the service duration to the same length as the work day, and then manually enter booked times. However, I am concerned that this may be too much of manual work.
If you have time, would you mind submitting your suggestion of more flexible time slots to our Feature Request page, so that we can consider it for implementation sometime in the future!

Oh no, I will then use another plugin for this site, as manual times would indeed be too much manual work, especially to book times in the calendar, but too bad I'll then miss the other great features of Amelia. And yes I'll submit a feature request, it would be really great to be able to do rentals with Amelia. Such as book a venue/bike/whatever from chosen start and end times.
