We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Is there way to automatically log in a new customer after a purchase is made? Similar to what woocommerce does?

    Hi, Marcio!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

I'm afraid it's not possible to automatically log in to a new customer, but the new customer user can be automatically created after the first booking and then he/she can log in with the link that will be sent in the email notification.

For that you'll have to enable the Automatically create Amelia Customer user option in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles Settings -> Customers.

Then, you'll need to set the Customer Panel:

    1. First, you have to create a page with the Customer Panel on your site. The Customer Panel can be added to the page on your WordPress website by adding the shortcode like you have added shortcodes for one of the booking forms.

If you cannot find the shortcode, these are the possible three shortcodes for the Customer Panel which you can copy and paste to your page:

    [ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1 events=1]

    [ameliacustomerpanel events=1]

    [ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1]

    2. Go to Amelia -> Settings -> Role Settings -> Customer.

Please choose "Enable Customer panel". After that, you need to paste the URL of the page on which the Panel shortcode is placed, in order to be able to send the link to your customers via notifications.

    3. For users to be able to log into their Customer Panel from the email, you need to include %cusomer_panel_url% placeholder in the Appointment Approved, and/or Appointment Pending notification templates. So, they'll receive the link to the Customer Panel once they book an Appointment. After that, they will be able to log in.

When they first click on that URL, they will create a password they will later use to log in to the Panel.

    Hope that information will help.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Best Regards.
