We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Can you tell me the best way to set up 2 way syncing with gmail calendar?

We would like to achieve the following:

    1) appointments can be made using Amelia via the website - these automatically populate the calendar and populate the appointments view.

    2) appointments manually added into the back end of WP Amelia, when people call in - how can these be automatically added to the gmail calendar (predominantly to ensure that website bookings don't book into an unavailable slot.)

If this isn't the correct process how do we enable bookings to be made / added either online or manually which will both populate the calendar AND the appointments view in Amelia.

    Thanks

    Hi, Samantha!

    Thank you for your inquiry.

Basically, once your Employee's Google calendar is connected to his/her profile, new bookings will be sent to the calendar (no matter if they were made from the front-end or back-end). The busy slots, created in Google calendar and/or transferred there from Amelia, won't be available for new bookings.

It is impossible to show events from the Google calendar in Amelia, so you will be able to see all the busy slots in Google calendar (Calendar's events and Amelia's appointments) but only Amelia's appointments in Amelia.

    Hopefully, this information will help.

    Best Regards.
