Show time slots around previous booked appointment for optimal layout of your day.

So basically i would like, once an appointment is booked, to display only the time slots that are "around" this booked appointment.

That way, after someone has made the first appointment on a particular day... the next bookings will always be before or after that first booking... and so my daily agenda will always have the bookings right behind each other which gives me an optimal day planning.

    Long story:

I want to fill days in an optimal way without having gaps. So i don’t get days filled with appointments scatterd over the day but nicely stacked. So i dont get this

    Appointments:
    09.00-09.30
    12.30-13.00
    16.00-16.30

Then i have to go to the office (or whatever) 3 times a day… i would always like to have them right behind each other like.

    Appointments
    09.00-09.30
    09.30-10.00
    10.00-10.30

So… when the very first appointment on any particular day has been made the next selectable appointments times will always only have timeslots available around that first one.

So f.e. from client perspective. I can select the following times (first booker for this day)
    Available timeslots

    09.00-1000
    1000-1100
    1100-1200
    1200-1300
    1300-1400 < selected
    1400-1500
    1500-1600
    1600-1700

    Suppose, he selects 1300-1400.
Then any next appointment (from next client) for this particular day can be made right before it or after it… like so.

    Current available timeslots
    09.00-1000
    1000-1100
    1100-1200
    1200-1300
    1300-1400 < already booked
    1400-1500 < selected
    1500-1600
    1600-1700

If this person selects 1400-1500 for instance.
So, now 13-14 is booked, 14-15 is booked
Then the very next appointment (from another next client) for this particular day would show:

    Current available timeslots
    09.00-1000
    1000-1100
    1100-1200
    1200-1300
    1300-1400 < already booked
    1400-1500 < already booked
    1500-1600 < selected
    1600-1700

So, he select 15-16…. And so on, and so on. Now we have a real nice agenda for the day with all the appointments connected right behind each other and i dont have any gaps during the day.

    Situation
    09.00-1000
    1000-1100
    1100-1200
    1200-1300
    1300-1400 < booked
    1400-1500 < booked
    1500-1600 < booked
    1600-1700

Do you now see what i mean?

    Hello Dennis,

thank you so much for reaching out and for your kind suggestions!

For the appointments stacked one after another: may I suggest turning off Buffer Time in your services, and Time Slot Step adjustment? These would help you rearrange your schedule in a way more convenient to your daily routine.

So, once one appointment in the "middle" is booked, the calendar will show the ones around.

    For example you have appointments:

    09.00-09.30
    09.30-10.00
    10.00-10.30

If someone books 09.30-10.00, calendar will show 09.00-09.30 and 10.00-10.30. removing Buffer Time (time before and after the service required to prepare for the next appointment will be gone), can set your appointments one behind another.

The only thing is, once 09.30-10.00 is booked, all other clients that come to book after that, cannot see that slot.

They will only see 09.00-09.30 and 10.00-10.30 which they can choose from.
