We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Conditional formatting

I created a table by importing a cvs with 80 rows, 15 columns. All rows have Columns 1 - 5 pre filled with data.remaining columns / rows are blank/null/"" whatever. Column 6 is a string for a persons name and set to E 'Cannot be empty'. I want to change row/cell color when the cell in Column 6 is edited, should have a name added to it. I have tried every combination of operators and " " , null etc... but have not figured it out.

So how do I test for an empty, null cell with conditional formatting options to change cell / row color when 'not null'?

I could fill it with a known value to test against but if that value was deleted and cell is empty I am back to testing for a null / empty cell.

If a Predefined value(s) is set in Editing tab would cell be updated to that value if a value was enter by user the deleted by user. Example predefined value 'Open' User enters a name and submits edit, edits again and deletes name will cell value be 'Open' (Predefined value(s)?

Thanks for the help with such a simple issue.

    Hi Ray

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can leave the second field blank, you don't have to type in any specific criteria if you wish to set conditional formatting for empty cells

I hope this helps, do let me know if you need any further assistance.

I feel foolish now, I tried everything but leaving it blank, exactly what I was testing for.

    Thank you.
