    Hej,

who on earth designes the CSS-classes in the modules. It's crazy difficult and illogical to design the calendar. And once done after a hair tearing day, I realize they are used to hide items (!), so if I for example want to show credit-card icons with a ::before class, the cards are visible also on items that are free, because that class of course is new and not included the script that hides the payment in free products.

    It drives me mad!

Seriuosly also - most fonts on the calendar front end are much too small, the color scheme is too limited and together this makes it extremely difficult to design a readable professionally looking calendar with Amelia.

A couple of months ago I replaced another booking plugin (gAppointments) on a site I manage with Amelia out of the box, no css changes. Sales has dropped to a third - and from what I believe only because visitors are unable to read the the tiny text. My client is confused, saying I promised it should be an improvement. Makes me feel lika a jackass.

Question is: Are you guys sitting on a remedy for these issues, coming with a well needed update, or will I just have to face the fact that all my work with this plugin is a failed mission and go looking for another calendar somewhere else?

I am not joking - these are really serious problems!

    Best regards

    Hello Bjorn,

thank you very much for reaching out to us!

I am sorry to hear that this is the case; I can confirm that we do have an expansion of Customize feature in plan for the near future. This is very important to us since various business models require different types of functional and aesthetic options in order to make their client's needs met, and to make UI more professional, and attractive to client's customers.

In a same way, as there are many various needs by different business owners, we have sorted them by priority, and are managing the ones most urgent and most requested; however, I do understand that the visual of the plugin is just as important as it's functionality. After all, it is essential for a business to have a tool that will match their company's theme and values, because such tool will drive more clients towards the services provided.

I have reached our developers regarding your notes on the script, and customization; this is the very purpose of our Features page, where our clients can provide suggestions on what new feature, or a current feature change, they would like to see in our updates. We always thrived to adapt to as many businesses as we can, and will continue to do so.

Although this expansion is worked on, I would like to propose a quick solution for now, for something you mentioned: fonts on the calendar front end. This can be changed with custom CSS, I would just need your kind instruction on which fields in particular is the font too small, so that we can create a CSS for it specifically.

Also please allow me to thank you for taking time to write this ticket, Bjorn; like I said, it's important to know what a client needs, and what can be adjusted to lift the business progress.

I would very much love to assist you on this, so I will be looking forward to your kind reply!
