I just installed the plugin to wordpress. On your 2nd tab in settings, Separate DB Connection, each time I enter the data and hit Save, the screen becomes blank and the cursor spins forever. I have to hit refresh to get back to the screen and need to do it all over again. So cannot set my Separate DB Connection.
This usually happens when the connection credentials are not valid; if the server on which the separate database is doesn't allow remote connections; or if you don't have necessary drivers installed on your WordPress server. If you allow it to stay on that screen for a few minutes, an error will appear, telling you exactly what the issue here is.
If you're able to provide me the connection details, I can try connecting to it, ruling out the drivers issue. If you decide to share the credentials with me, please remember to enable the PRIVATE response, since this is a public ticket, so it's not visible to everyone else.
