We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I noticed that when charts don't have a horizontal axis label, nothing shows on the embedded chart in that area, but when the vertical axis field is empty, it always shows "value". Was this a conscious decision? I have a few charts that I'd like to use that vertical label's real estate to increase the width of the chart, but I see no way to remove the label.
Thanks,
Lori
Hello Lori
Can you please show me in a few screenshots how the table looks like, and how you created the chart, so I can replicate the behavior on my end?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
Please find the attachments and let me know if these do not show what you're looking for. You'll notice that the field for "vertical axis label" is empty on the last screenshot, but when published this way, it shows "Values" as the label unless I enter something in this field. The "horizontal axis label" field is also empty, but does not show anything on the chart unless you enter something in that field. The two fields seem to behave differently.
Thanks,
Lori
I see what you mean, Lori, thanks for the screenshots.
At the moment, the only workaround is to simply add a space in the Vertical axis label. I just tested it, and it works for me.
I've forwarded this to our developers, so they can check it for our future updates. Thanks for the heads-up.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

So far, the client has not complained about "Values" so, I'll probably just leave that for now, or add a space, if needed as you suggested. I am hoping a solution will allow the graph to be wider and take up that space when there is no text label for the vertical axis.
Regards,
Lori
Hi again Lori
Our developers will work on this in the future, so I hope it will be resolved soon.
