i have a problem with the Google Calendar. When a day is booked as day off or not available in Google Calendar it doesnt sync with Amelia and that creates a massive problem. Could you have a look for me please?
Please note that if you have busy slots in Google calendar, they won't be seen in Amelia, but they will be unavailable for booking. Also, if you want to set a Day off, you should do it in Amelia, setting it only in Google calendar might cause issues.
the problem here is that im setting a "Busy" day in google calendar but when i go to Amelia it allows me to book it. It doesnt seem to sync. Can you or some of the developers have a look for me? I have tried everything. I have checked Google API credentials and Outh and all but nothing.
I apologize for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
As I mentioned before, it's not the best idea to mark the whole day as busy in the Google calendar in order to have a Day off in Amelia. It doesn't work in some cases (most probably due to Google security policies). So if you want to have set a Day off, you should do it in Amelia directly.
Also, please make sure you create events in the Google calendar. Only when there are busy events, Amelia "sees" these tome slots as unavailable.
One more thing: Please open Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google calendar and set "Maximum Number Of Events Returned" to a high number, for example, 2000.
After all that, please test the integration again.
If it still doesn't work, please provide us with temporary WP Admin access (you can post credentials as a private reply to this ticket).
Hi, thats absolutely fine, i understand that you are not working at the weekends.
The thing is i dont want my customer to having to go to WP dashboard to then go to Amelias setting in order to mark a day off or a busy day. In Amelia documentations say that theres 2 way Google Calendar. My customer want to be able to mark busy days and slots straight from the Gooogle calendar.
I have increased the events return to 2500. Thank you about that.
I do understand your point. It's supposed to work as you require, but sometimes (very rare) Google creates some issues due to its extremely strict security policies. However, lately, after adding some fixes, we didn't receive new complaints about it.
