Hello there, I need to have some explanations about a package.
I need to create a package with four employees , and the customers must be able to choose for any appointment the employee: is it possible?
I'm doing some test, but I don't understand how config amelia to do this.
I appreciate any help you can provide. Bye

    Hi Danilo,

thank you for the kind inquiry; I will be happy to help!

So, via Packages, you can combine multiple services, and even discount them, to offer them as a "bulk" to your clients. Within Packages, you can choose which Services you'd like to join, how many appointments will a client have available to book (example: 3 appointments in the span of one month for each service), and even choose whether there will be a discount or not for the Package of Services.

If you have 4 services, one employee in each service, or, if you have more than one employee in a single service, and you want to offer these services together as a package, you can do so like this:

Go to Services > Packages > Add Package > Services within this Add Package window> Employees > checkmark which employees you would like to be available for the customer to choose from.

    Here is an example:

I have selected both employees, and both will be available when a customer tries to make a package appointment.

If you have different concerns regarding package creation, or an error comes up, please let me know (a screenshot would be helpful as well).

    I hope this helps!

Thanks Ivana for your reply. My needs are different because every employee has a different area of expertise. So, if you want to book an appointment with me, it isn't important when another employee is free because you need to know when I can book the appointment.

For example, I have an only service with me, an accountant, and a lawyer. Well, you buy a 30 minutes package of 10 consulting (every of 30 minutes).

You can decide, from time to time, if you want legal or accounting consulting choosing the right professional.

Excuse my English. I hope I'm making myself clear.

Thank you for an expedite reply, Danilo; your English is perfect.

I understand now; you would like to offer 10 appointments to your client within a package, for services (consultations) of their choice.

Since Amelia requires a number of appointments in a single service to be preset, this would limit your clients (you can set up 2 appointments per each of, let's say, 5 consultants; and perhaps your client wanted to use 6 appointments with one of them and split the other 4 among two consultants).

Perhaps, you could create one separate service that will include multiple consultants as employees. In this way, if you create a package that has this one service within it, and set it to 10 appointments, clients could choose how many appointments they want to use with which consultant.

Additionally, in this way, if a consultant who is a part of the package, gets booked for one of the package appointments, that time slot will be immediately shown as booked in his actual service calendar, so there are no double bookings.

I hope that this workaround is helpful; only a suggestion on how this can be managed.

No, I'm sorry, this workaround is not possible for us because we don't know in advance what my customers need. Our customers may are free to decide the professional at the moment of the appointment's book.

Thank you for the kind reply, Danilo.

I see; this would only be possible outside of the package.

I'm sorry I could not find an alternative solution.
