    Hi,

We offer Yoga, Meditation, Therapy and other services. Our clients expect to buy a memberships (like gyms). How can we create a membership option and integrate it to our website?

    Thank you in advance,

    Best regards,

    Thorsten

    Hi, Thorsten!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

I apologize for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.

Unfortunately, at the moment there's no feature in Amelia that would allow creating memberships.

You can use Memberpress as a membership plugin. Memberpress has an addon to link your membership levels to any WordPress user role. So you can link your levels to the Amelia Customer user role. So each time a member sign up, also assigns the member to Amelia Customer. During the first appointment, all fields are grayed out since Amelia recognizes them as an existing customer.

You can use some other membership plugins as well, but we didn't test them yet, so we can't be sure they will work with Amelia flawlessly.

Also, we are always looking for ideas on how to make Amelia better (and the membership feature is definitely a great one). So if you have a couple of minutes, please suggest this feature on our website. The most requested features will be implemented in the coming updates.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Katie!

I apologize for the delayed response.

Could you please try enabling the "Automatically create Amelia Customer user" option in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles settings?

Amelia's Customer (and Employee) Panel log-in is different from any other log-in you have on your site (WordPress log-in, WooCommerce log-in, Memberpress log-in, or any other log-in you can create). At the moment, there is no way to link the two, so your customers have the same password for Memberpress and Amelia. It is something frequently requested by our customers, and I do hope our developers will add that to the plugin soon, but I don't believe it's going to be any time soon.

Therefore, your Customers will have to log in separately to access the Customer panel.

If this is not what you're looking for, then probably Memberpress won't suit your requirements in this case.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
