We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
How do I attach the zoom link to the iCal file?
Hello Mike,
There isn't a possibility of changing the information in the ICS files in the notifications, unfortunately, so there isn't a way of adding the Zoom link there.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
I often receive ICS files with embedded zoom links.
Currently, an appointment will show up, and the user then has to trawl through potentially months of emails to find the Zoom link.
Is this on the roadmap?
It isn't possible to include the Zoom link in ICS files with Amelia's current built-in features, unfortunately. We don't have that feature planned for now, so I can't say if and when it could be implemented. You can suggest it as a feature request here, or check if ther eis such request there and vote for it.
It is possible to add information about Amelia appointments (Zoom as well) to Google/Outlook events using these integrations, if that could help out.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi Marija,
This sounds promising.
How do I add this information to the Google/outlook events?
Currently, the appointment that is made only contains the event/meeting date, title, and nothing else.
Thanks in advance
Hi Mike,
For any information about appointments in Amelia, you want to have in your Google calendar, you can add placeholders to the fields Event Title and Event Description which you will find in Amelia -> Settings -> Google calendar settings. You can find all the placeholders when you click on </>Show Email Placeholders in Amelia -> Notifications, by clicking on the placeholder in the list you copy it and then you can paste that placeholder to the aforementioned fields in Amelia Settings. You should enable the Send Event Invitation Email option and customers will get the event invitation and in the event the information.
The same applies to Outlook integration.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi Marija,
Thanks very much, working well now.
You are welcome, Mike. Glad to see that, thank you for letting me know.
