We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
is it possible to have a multi-day service?
We want to realize the following:
A customer can book a 12 day service always on thuesday and thursday (so 6 weeks with always 2 days).
The service has a duration of 2 hours and can be booked between 10 am and 7 pm (when booked it's always the same time).
A customer needs to be logged in with his wordpress account and can only book one time.
After booking the service is synchronized to the outlook exchange calendar.
Thank you very much.
Julien
Hello Julien,
There isn't a possibility of creating services for longer than 24 hours in Amelai with its current features, unfortunately. Service duration can be up to 1 day/24h and that is the longest appointment duration as well.
You can check out the Events , if you could achieve what you need with using events, but please note that only Services can be synced with Outlook/Google calendars in Amelia, events can't, unfortunately.
A customer needs to be logged in with his wordpress account and can only book one time.
There isn't a possibility to set a limit for a customer to the number of bookings they have in Amelia in general. But a customer can't book the same appointment more than once, and when you create an event you can choose if one customer can book more than once the same event. There isn't a possibility for Amelia to see if a user is logged in or not, so you can maybe have a page for logged in users only where you would add Amelia shortcode.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
