I have a four column table (varchar): three columns are of length between 40 and 80 characters but one column is up to 250 characters.
Is there a way to view this table on a tablet or a even mobile phone? Horizontal scrolling on columns would also help very much - at the moment I obtain a cut off after some length.
Splitting this table into two tables each with two columns is not sufficient.
Sorry for the delay in our responses, has been national holidays in our country for the last two days.
You have few options.
The first is to set the option Scrollable on the Display tab in table settings with which you will have a horizontal scrollbar below the table on all devices.
The second option is to turn on the optionLimit table width and Word wrap options also on the Display tab in table settings.(Please note that you need to turn off Scrollable to able to see it) and then you will turn on option Responsiveness same on Display tab in the table settings. After that in column settings will be shown option hide od tablet and hide on mobile and you will turn on that options for a column with long text. More about this you can find here.
