I am coming from a different platform, where the process of booking timeslots was solved differently (every customer could see the booked time online in brwoser, no matter where and when he booked a lesson).
In around 2months in a lot of countries there will be a change from winter to summer time. Since I already had 2 times an issue, where a student booked a lesson in Europe, but on the day we had the lesson he was in a different timezone in the USA, I am a bit concerned how this time change will effect all this.
Assuming on 4th April we change the time here in Austria. A student books a lesson before this day for a date after the 4th. How he will understand the lesson starts?
Maybe I am overcomplicating things, but since in your system its impossible to add the Timezone for each lesson, I really see a lot of confusion coming up, which I have to avoid!
Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
As you probably know, Amelia doesn't have any time zone settings, and it picks up the WordPress time zone, from WordPress' General settings.
If you have set your WordPress timezone to one of the UTC+- options, not the City timezone option, it could cause the issue. Because, these UTC options don't recognize the daylight savings and the time change, and since this setting applies to Amelia as well, we recommend choosing one of the City options there instead, because of this reason.
The only way to prevent confusion is to disable the option "Show bookings in client timezone" in Amelia -> Settings -> General, so the customers will always book in the timezone that you have in WordPress/Amelia back-end. Also, you can add this information to the email notifications that would remind that the starting time is let's say CET summer time and they should make sure they counted the time difference.

Hi, Phil!

Hope that will help.
Best Regards.
